• Notable projects in a client's assembly plant Body Shop located in Flat Rock:
• Commissioning, debug, and standby maintenance of a new conveyor system
• Programming and overseeing an add-on insertion/pull-off station to an existing empty pallet conveyor system. Additionally adding a new PanelView with a non-standard operator screen, and fault messages to all existing PanelViews.
• Representing Indicon as the primary controls engineer contact and completing small scale projects such as enabling manual control on multiple PanelViews and creating an emergency program that enables a conveyor system to run even with damaged machinery
• Creating a path decision-making program with a user-friendly control interface that routes empty pallets through different lanes based off RFID readers. This project involves multiple PLCs, so heavy knowledge of interlocks is required.
• Notable project in a client's assembly plant Final Trim Line located in Detroit:
• Helped installed three motor drives (Powerflex 755) in a power and free conveyor system. Performed standby during its start up and monitored the torque compensation program between the drives to make sure no single drive is throwing chain, etc. Heavy knowledge of Powerflex drives and basic knowledge of power and free systems and torque was required.
