• Design and architected the Airtel Xstream backend to scale for high concurrency events with upto 1Mn concurrent users eg FIFA 2018 world cup, India vs SA 2018 etc.
• Developed and Launched Xstream Live app for Artists to perform Live Concerts. The first version of App was launched in just 5 days because of urgency as a business opportunity because of COVID-19 situation.
• AWS cost optimization: Saved $160k per month in AWS bill by optimizing the architecture. As per AWS report, ​based on their ​CO score​, Wynk has optimised on Compute (94%) which is one of the best scores among their customers.
• Security of Content: Stopped the piracy of Airtel Xstream content on various pirated APPs which is a major concern for other OTT apps in the market (Zee5, Hotstar, Prime Videos etc).

• Design and Architecting the common personalization engine for Xstream and Wynk Music. This involves building a common User Attributes service, Layout engines, notification system etc. The project is in progress.
• Build and architected the Live TV Platform to serve 600+ channels.
• Worked on improving various matrices eg VSF (Videos start Failures), Rebuffer, and Click to play.

• Build and revamped the Airtel Xstream Backend from scratch. Previously the application was managed by partner vendor. All this was moved in-house and all the core modules eg user, layout, content, search, analytics, monitoring, CMS were developed and launched in just 2 month. There was considerable improvement in app load time, play start time and within month of release of new revamped app, DAU and MOU numbers increased by 250 - 300%.

• Contributed in improving the application performance. Refractor old code and helped streamline the application. Loading time of business reports reduced by 30-40% and considerable improvement in page load time. Published guidelines to the team members about the coding and design patters.
