• Joined as the founding engineer in the team. Contributed from building the learners portal to setting up the initial infrastructure over AWS, leveraging terraform as an IaC tool, PostgreSQL, Docker setup to then stabilizing the product, load testing using Artillery & scaling it for initial customer base of 50k. In this process also mentored the new hires by taking appropriate knowledge sharing sessions.
• Designed & Developed NodeJS Backend for Payment Application using Microservice Architecture hosted on EC2. It included automatic invoice generation with Puppeteer library delivered to customer via SES, Auto enrollment with decoupling of system via Redis queue & Coupon code management system from scratch.
• Implemented fully managed container orchestration service with ECS that helps all of our products easily deploy, manage, and scale. This has saved 3x cost for AWS billing & also scaled our application on runtime. Along with Infrastructure revamp, also set up CI/CD pipeline using GitHub actions & different production/staging environment for developer ease.
• Proposed and led the adoption of a third-party application for admin functionality, instead of developing an in-house solution, significantly accelerating the release timeline. Successfully executed major content uploads within two weeks, saving approximately two months of development effort. Negotiated effectively to secure nearly 10,000 credits, allowing the company to utilize the application free of charge for almost an year.

• Designed and developed a new service from scratch for performing actions on prime membership of customers which is used by all CS agents & BI across Amazon Prime. The service is built to support batch operations on 1M+ customers at once. It used AWS Fargate for compute along with AWS Step Functions for orchestration between multiple microservices.
• Optimized AWS resource utilization by implementing advanced cost management strategies, including auto-scaling, spot instances, reserved instances, and optimizing storage with S3 Intelligent-Tiering which led to a significant increase in the Credit Score from 56% to 72%.
• Actively contributed to the enhancement of various QA automation tools by following the Agile development process. Also have done multiple roadshows for our tool which led to the onboarding of 7 new teams for one of our prime tools.
