Led a project to integrate models built by the Data Science team into C++ and Python code. This involved writing model-specific CPP files and conducting bulk tests on the models to ensure their accuracy and performance. This resulted in a seamless integration of the new model, reducing runtime errors and improving the overall efficiency of the software.
Successfully reduced the Copilot time from 6 months to 2 months while working on a 2-membered Copilot project to onboard a new client. Primarily wrote Python scripts to pull data from AWS servers, generate data in the client’s format, compute new fields based on requirements, plot curves to check data consistency, and validate the generated data. This resulted in client satisfaction.
Gained hands-on experience with Bash, Git, and Gerrit utilities, as well as entry-level knowledge of working with PySpark and Python. Utilised these skills to improve the software development process, resulting in faster understanding of tasks and improved code quality.
