Several college students from the US volunteered for one month to install the panels and other structures. We lived in the rural community to truly experience the life of simple, village people of India. Towards that goal the plan included: A 5kW of electricity using solar PV panels at the Yoga Center and the Village Clinic, a 3.3kW wind turbine to pump water and a 9kW of electricity using solar PV panels that supports a 20hp pump to provide water for the entire community to provide water to the local villagers.
