• As the architect and technical leader of MSCI’s One Data Platform, I am responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of a scalable, Azure-native financial data architecture that powers the company’s investment and ESG analytics. I lead a cross-functional engineering team of around 15 members in building an end-to-end data pipeline that transforms raw, heterogeneous corporate disclosures into structured, analytics-ready metrics using Delta Lake (Databricks) and AI-driven validation. My role involves defining the technical vision, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring the platform adheres to principles of transparency, scalability, and governance, while supporting complex financial instruments and regulatory requirements.
• Beyond architecture, I drive research enablement and operational automation, enabling domain experts and researchers to develop and deploy ESG models without engineering dependency. I’ve led the development of a lineage-aware DAG system that maintains full traceability of data derivation, enabling retroactive corrections in response to source data updates. I also introduced an AI-powered quality control layer, allowing non-engineering teams to configure data validations using natural language. • As the Lead and Architect, I spearheaded efforts to enhance the efficiency of the data operation team within Real Assets. This project has helped operation team to reduce the number of screens, manual intervention, and ability to run multiple workflows parallelly. This project helps the data team for the smooth functioning of the annual update and improve work-life balance. System architecture was structured around loosely coupled services based on an event-driven design.
• My role encompassed close collaboration with the data operation team to deeply understand the processes involved in building Real Assets Indexes. This involved identifying areas ripe for automation or optimization. Subsequently, I led the design and implementation of applications, primarily leveraging C# .NET Core, and established robust pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment of services.
• One of the notable achievements was orchestrating the migration of our entire operation system from On-premises infrastructure to Azure Cloud, and subsequently to Google Cloud. This experience provided invaluable insights into the nuances of multi-cloud environments and enabled me to develop strategies for designing systems to mitigate vendor lock-in risks.
• Additionally, during the cloud migration, I oversaw all Real Assets configurations, logging, and monitoring activities to ensure seamless transition and ongoing operational excellence.
• Leading a team of highly skilled professionals, we managed ETL processes using Talend, optimized our operation efficiency system, and build proxy climate API for seamless integration of Real Assets with ESG climate data.

• I spearheaded initiatives focused on delivering bespoke data management, risk reporting, and financial system integration solutions to our valued clientele. My role encompassed diverse responsibilities including team formation, client onboarding, and streamlining data processes through automation. In this capacity, I engineered applications within Services and Solutions that facilitated the seamless integration of client portfolios into MSCI's risk analytics products (B1/RM).
• I take pride in developing these applications from the ground up, leveraging my expertise in Microsoft technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and MSSQL. These applications, predominantly monolithic in nature, were intricately orchestrated and stitched together using Bonita, a Business Process Management tool.
• One of the highlights of my journey was leading a cross-continental engineering team spanning America and Europe, a privilege that allowed me to foster collaboration and drive innovation on a global scale.
