• Responsibilities:
• Designed the functional flow, using Microsoft Visio, to automate the process of sending prior day daily sales reports, on a national level, to individual orthopedics sales representatives in an e-mail format. These reports were being e-mailed to the respective sales representatives manually and there was a need to automate this process to send out prior day actual sales, period-to-date sales, and year-to-date sales on a daily basis.
• Designed the technical specification document and object mappings for the mailing process of the individual sales representatives’ reports.
• Designed and developed a data load process of sales representatives’ information from the SAP R/3 SD system to the Oracle Data Warehouse using external tables and SQL*LOADER.
• Developed the prior day actual sales, period-to-date sales, period-to-date quota variance, year-to-date sales, and year-to-date quota variance calculation procedures for all sales representatives using Oracle 9.2 PL/SQL. This involved the use of Oracle Triggers, Oracle Analytic Functions, Cursors, and TOAD 8.6.

• Follett Higher Education Group is a bookstore that manages more than 850 bookstores nationwide and provides management systems, support services, and used textbooks to over 1,800 independently managed bookstores.
• Responsibilities:
• Designed the process for loading course material data sent from CourseTracks, a course material management system, into the Follett database using Microsoft Visio and developed the technical design document for the process flow.
• Designed the process to load rental course material and calculate the rental fee based on bookstore specific tax codes using Microsoft Visio.
• Developed the CourseTracks course material load package using Oracle 11g and SQL Developer 3.0. This package included PL/SQL functions and procedures to load Course Tracks data and assign attribute descriptions of the data to catalog entries in the database as well as modifying the existing IBM Websphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.4 tables used by Follett.
• Developed the Store Title load package using Oracle 11g and SQL Developer 3.0. This package included PL/SQL functions and procedures to associate the bookstore details and rental details to the CourseTracks course material data.
• Developed system unit test cases for the CourseTracks load process and Store Title load process by designing a PL/SQL package using Oracle 11g. Any issues regarding the test cases were tracked using JIRA. Version control of the PL/SQL packages was performed using WinCvs 2.0.2.4 and the Cygwin environment.

• Sabre Holdings is an American privately held travel technology company, encompassing several brands in three global distribution system channels: travel agency, airline, and direct to consumer. Travelocity is an online travel agency and wholly owned subsidiary of Sabre Holdings Corporation.
• Responsibilities:
• Designed a data cleanup process flow for Travelocity for elimination of redundant locations, points of interests, airports, and location hierarchies using Microsoft Visio after gathering required business specifications.
• Developed the integration process of GCG (Global Content Gateway) data with the more robust GLS (Geo Location Service) data for the purpose of accurate location hierarchies. GCG data had duplicate data and incorrect location hierarchies and cleanup was performed using Oracle 11g, PL/SQL hierarchical queries, and SQL Developer before the integration into GLS.
• Developed a mapping process where SQL*Loader was used to load the cleaned GCG data into the GLS database. Korn Shell scripting was used to schedule load of new GCG data through Oracle procedures and functions calls on a weekly basis from production. Visual Source Safe 6.0 was used for version control in the test environment and timely updates were made for the integration scripts to be current.
• Researched and analyzed the location hierarchy accuracy present in the GCG and GLS databases of major cities, states, and regions in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.

• Designed and developed a custom payroll application for the APAC call center in Manila, Philippines.
• Gathered business requirements from the Manila team for the design of the payroll automation process. Payroll automation was necessary in Manila as earlier payroll was generated manually and thus time consuming.
• Developed the business design and technical design of the payroll automation process.
• Developed and tested PL/SQL procedures and functions using TOAD 9.1 to calculate regular, overtime, night differential, rest day, and holiday premiums for the Manila call center employees. The shift information, which is used to determine the premiums, of the Manila employees was loaded into the database using SQL*Loader.
