  • Designed and developed a data load process of sales representatives’ information from the SAP R/3 SD system to the Oracle Data Warehouse using external tables and SQL*LOADER.
  • Developed the prior day actual sales, period-to-date sales, period-to-date quota variance, year-to-date sales, and year-to-date quota variance calculation procedures for all sales representatives using Oracle 9.2 PL/SQL. This involved the use of Oracle Triggers, Oracle Analytic Functions, Cursors, and TOAD 8.6.

  • Developed a mapping process where SQL*Loader was used to load the cleaned GCG data into the GLS database. Korn Shell scripting was used to schedule load of new GCG data through Oracle procedures and functions calls on a weekly basis from production. Visual Source Safe 6.0 was used for version control in the test environment and timely updates were made for the integration scripts to be current.
  • Researched and analyzed the location hierarchy accuracy present in the GCG and GLS databases of major cities, states, and regions in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.
