  • 1) Instant Gratification: Designed and built a new service from scratch, which is responsible for recovering some amount as a penalty from the restaurant's payout in case of consumer complaints(via chatbot or customer care executives). The recovery attribution(determining the fault of restaurant vs Delivery executive) and the penalty depends on a number of metrics/signals from other services including data science(in case of fraud complaint).
  • 2) Built a highly scalable and robust data pipeline with multiple sources/channels/Sinks using Apache Flume which processes millions of Kafka events per day and persistent them in different sinks. Different source/channels/sinks refer to: Kafka/RabbitMQ/Mysql/Redis/DynamoDB
  • 3) Built a business-critical feature around the Food Prepared signal which is used by multiple teams across Swiggy. The accuracy of this signal is crucial in the delivery partner assignment.
