About

Growing up as a kid without a computer / cable-TV meant I had to constantly make up new rules for my cousins to make sure our board games remained interesting. In college, I built the water polo team and led the team to win our first medal in 23 years. This hunger to build teams and constantly try new things to make things better has helped me accomplish the following:- - Scaled the Meesho Low ASP (Sub 200 INR) business from 2k orders a day / 25k orders / day in 6 months. - Scaled the Amazon Partner Carrier Program in IN (business which transports goods from sellers warehouses to Amazon FCs) from 0.25M units/week to 1.5M units/week - Scaled a team from 4 to 22 at Cloudtail India and a growing a 100+ Cr Beauty Business at Cloudtail by 8x in 3 years while improving margins by 800bps - Launched the Lightning Deals product at Amazon UK for 100k sellers which became the fastest growing merchandising product and beat its revenue target by 10x - At Amazon UK, designed and implemented a scalable method of clearance of overstocks across 10k SKUs which delivered more than $1M annual savings and is now adopted across EU - Having had enough of the Financial Services Industry, I designed a Financial Literacy Board game, launched it in Hamleys and sold 5000 copies in 2011 - Won an Honorary Gold Medal in 2009 for my ongoing work as an alumni in starting and building the Student Athlete Mentoring Program in IIT Kanpur If you want to find out more, debate ideas of building new products / business-models or just play board games contact me on LinkedIn Key Skills :- Strategic Leadership, Team Building, Full P&L Ownership, Vendor Management and Negotiation, Product Management, Running a Business Development team, Data Modelling and Analytics, Big Data Specialties:- E-Commerce, Finance & Banking, Online Brand Building, Game Design, E-Learning, Scaling 10X
