• I worked directly with our client’s technical teams. These clients included some of the largest medical transcription companies in the world: Webmedx, Medquist, Stentell, and Bayscribe. I played a central role in the development of our groundbreaking health care solution. My tasks included but were not limited to:
• Writing in Perl and Python to automate the intake of records and the testing of our application
• Debugging complex XML output from a NLP program called MEDLEE
• Enhancements in the UI which used EXTJS (a JavaScript UI library)
• Creation of filters for our Java based “feeder” (the feeder was our application which fed data to our indexer)
• Wrote efficient Perl scripts to parse what would be up to terabytes of data
