• As a sales and marketing intern at a prestigious hotel chain in Manipur, working under the Classic Group, my responsibilities spanned three different hotels. From June 2022 to July 2022, my daily tasks included:
• Communication: Engaging with clients both in person and online to address their needs and inquiries.
• Consultation: Providing consultation services and overseeing client requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and other relevant information.
• Coordination: Collaborating with various departments such as front desk, food and beverage, kitchen, warehouse, and technical teams to ensure seamless operations.Billing: Handling billing processes and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services provided.
• Reporting: Regularly reporting to the Assistant General Manager on ongoing activities and progress in sales and marketing initiatives.
• This experience allowed me to gain practical insights into the intricacies of hotel management, honing my communication and coordination skills while contributing to the overall success of the hotels within the Classic Group.

• A weeklong program organised by The Program for Scientifically Inclined Leadership (PSIL)aimed to help explore and train a western style curriculum that can be applied in the local high school. Three groups viz. Harvard UGs, teachers and students from different regions of Manipur interacted to promote cross/cultural understanding. The program focused on developing leadership skills in the students while the teaching assistants and the Harvard undergraduates learn to become more effective teachers.
• As part of my role, my key responsibilities included:
• Assisting Students: Providing support to students in conducting experiments and preparing presentations, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
• Translator/Interpreter: Serving as a translator or interpreter, facilitating effective communication between individuals who may speak different languages or have varied linguistic backgrounds. •Motivating Students: Actively encouraging and motivating students to explore and recognise their talents and skills, fostering a positive and empowering educational atmosphere.
