  • Worked with several GitHub teams as a Full-stack Engineer between February 2020 and June 2023, including GitHub Identities, GitHub Communities, and GitHub Enterprise teams.
  • As part of the GitHub Identities team, added a custom roles feature that expanded the GitHub permissions offering from the basic legacy read, write, and admin permissions to enable users to create named combinations of these permissions called roles, which could then be assigned to individuals or teams.
  • As part of the GitHub Communities team, worked with another engineer to complete, in under six months, their entire backlog of approximately 1000 issues, many of which were client-facing.
  • Enabled self-serve enterprise accounts on the GitHub Enterprise team, allowing individuals and companies to set up GitHub Enterprise accounts without the need for a support team; over the rollout period, over 1200 new enterprise accounts were created, generating over $2M in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Ported the GitHub Marketplace functionality to self-serve enterprise accounts, allowing the installation of GitHub and third-party developed applications to the accounts and increasing the features available to the platform's users.
