I work on identity systems that have real-world consequences, and I spend most of my time thinking about how they fail under pressure. I am the GM and Head of Document Verification and Biometrics at Socure, building AI-driven products that sit at the intersection of identity fraud, deepfakes, regulation, and trust. My work increasingly extends beyond fraud prevention into protecting vulnerable users and ensuring identity systems are used responsibly at scale. Over the years, I have learned that these problems are rarely solved by models alone. They are shaped by product decisions, operating constraints, user behavior, and the realities of deployment that only show up once systems are live.
