I leveled up on my career path by graduating with an MBA from the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business in May of 2017. During this time I re-ignited my interest in technology and developed a passion for understanding how people and organizations can create meaningful (bottom line enhancing) change. Joining the Microsoft sales organization in the US, I was privileged to work with an organization that obsesses about their customers, and strived to be the best in the world while empowering my teammates and peers to achieve that aim. I spent 5 years at Microsoft, beginning as a Data & AI Solution Sales Specialist, progressing to Senior Digital Advisor within the Chief Digital Officer organization. At Confluent, I began owning the partner ecosystem for our digital native customer segment as a Partner Sales Manager, executing a channel strategy that helps businesses create real time data strategies in the cloud. Now as a Director of Technology Partnerships, I spend all of my time connecting with our independent software vendor peers, championing best of breed data workflows, building strategic relationships, and creating cross-tech solutions that deliver the best possible business outcomes for our customers. Product Strategy: MBA Intern

  • Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is the world's 7th largest automaker, designing, engineering, manufacturing, and selling passenger and light commercial vehicles.
  • As an MBA intern on the product strategy team for the Chrysler brand, I really got to see how much the organization cared about its customers and allocated resources into designing the perfect automobile for their target market.
  • I helped pioneer the development of the first-ever electric vehicle technology innovation process, a collaboration between brand, marketing, engineering, and strategy teams to build a working ideation platform for the Plug-in Hybrid Pacifica. During my time at FCA, I also investigated forward thinking vehicle portfolio strategies and looked for trends to propose product execution and positioning for sustainable technologies in future automobile deployments.
  • Some key take-aways from working with FCA: 1) the importance of developing the customer persona and understanding the lifestyles of an evolving consumer landscape, and 2) the value of intense competitive analysis in a disruptive environment, and the importance of balancing strengths and weaknesses in the product development life-cycle to achieve "best in class" automobiles.
