  • Warehouse Setup – The warehouse physical area is graphed and multiple MSLZ(Module, Side, Level, Zones) are carved to form Slots/Cubbies to arrange the items. It does everything from size of the physical assets to labeling the items, TU's, Cart, Totes, etc to handle the goods transport from a place to another place. It's a complex process to map the building properly so that proper chains, RFID's, drop zones so that bus-picking, tote-optimization etc can be calculated and operated properly. It's the most important step to operationalize a WMS and work in the most optimal manner.
  • Case/Pallet Receiving – Designed and implemented the process for TCL/TPL to be unloaded from trailer, scanned using the UPC/barcode and find a Transport Unit (TU) to putaway the items to Slot. This process reduced the average response time by 25% which led to overall increased efficiency saving thousands in operational cost for WMS. Revised Damage process and Inventory reporting, forecasting led to hugh saving for the business. Developed using Java, Apache Kafka, React native, InformixDb, Azure CosmosDB, ActiveMQ, REST.
