  • Over the past 11 months, I took a step back to focus on areas that I felt would shape both my professional and personal journey.
  • I spent this time upskilling with a clear purpose—strengthening my product sense, exploring AI tools, and applying first-principles thinking to problems. I also aligned my prior experience in supply chain and warehouse management for e-commerce brands with the kind of roles I want to pursue, approaching processes and solutions through a more customer-focused and scalable lens.
  • Alongside this, I managed my investments and assets to create a sustainable flow of passive income, giving me the space to focus on work I truly care about.
  • Travel and exploration became another part of this phase, exposing me to new cultures, perspectives, and ways of thinking. A few glimpses are on Instagram @hershysocial.
  • I also dedicated time to hobbies and well-being—gardening, freshwater fishkeeping and aquascaping, swimming, training pets, and prioritising my health. These activities offered balance, creativity, and perspective.
  • Most importantly, I spent meaningful time with my family, especially my young son, which was deeply rewarding.
  • This period has been about aligning experiences, learning, and perspectives in a way that naturally positions me for the next chapter of my professional journey.
