• Joining here was a true trial by fire. Within my first week, I was handed Business Development with no manual, simply the instruction to get started. It meant a crash course in real estate fundamentals (FSI, FAR, land extent), partnership models (JD, JV, DM), and complex financial modeling (DCFs, IRRs). Within two weeks, I was running cash flows, structuring proposals, and evaluating expansion opportunities across seven major Indian cities. By the end of the quarter, I’d contributed to a dozen deals - a significant personal milestone in an entirely new domain.
• The role then evolved into an intense, hands-on chapter in Marketing. Our small team had a huge vacuum, so I jumped in to handle everything from social media and SEO to performance strategy, BTL, content, and creatives, working directly with the CBRO. Beyond these core areas, I actively managed countless adhoc threads critical to the business, including providing support for the new product development and design for the launch of our Marzi box vertical. My focus eventually narrowed to leading the referral marketing channel, launching our first influencer-led campaign, and managing projects across multiple new cities. Every quarter has brought a new challenge, but the core mission remains: to drive the business forward by tackling the next big problem.

• My time at Hevo Data, though short, was an intense experiment. I immersed myself in various aspects of GTM strategy, such as events, community building, and customer testimonials, and also contributed to content, employer branding, and hiring, with some of this work being part of new initiatives. While I met some truly amazing people there, it ultimately wasn't the right fit for me.

• While working as a Founder's Office individual myself, the idea for the Founder's Office Club (FOC), a community for generalists like me, sparked. I've had the privilege of meeting countless people, and it's always incredibly rewarding to hear about their achievements within or through the community. We're constantly experimenting and developing initiatives to give back to society in any way we can. This work brings me immense meaning, purpose, happiness, and fulfillment.

• Moving to Bangalore and diving headfirst into a Founder’s Office role was a wild ride, it was my first time living completely independently and away from home! It turned out to be a crash course in life, both professionally and personally.
• I saw the company navigate the intense challenge of pivoting, winding down one business while simultaneously pushing another toward product–market fit. I got my hands dirty across almost every business function: BizOps, FinOps, SDR, Marketing, Customer Experience, HR, you name it!
• It was a deep tech product so the journey to PMF was long, and while we were getting there, things had to slow down on the business side, where most of the contributions had to come from the engineering team. So, I moved on to a role with more learning opportunities. Super grateful for this opportunity and everyone I met along the way.
