About

Hi, I'm Ila Lama and I'm what happens when systems meets storytelling. I'm an IT project management professional with a diverse background including product marketing, brand strategy, creative direction, community building, and entrepreneurship - and I use all of it. Outside of my 9-to-5, I mentor students and professionals, guest lecture, and develop brand and content strategy. My specialty? Equipping people with the tools, confidence, and voice to own every room they walk into. This all drives my research into AI for Impact: Exploring how these tools shape access, equity, and human connection across individuals and organizations. Because AI is moving fast, and the people it affects most are often the last ones in the room. At my core, I am a storyteller. Through written work, spoken word, and visual art. As a 1.5 gen immigrant and woman of color, storytelling is how I've always made sense of the world. It’s the thread that runs through everything I build, create, and share. The question that drives everything: How can we build with these tools while still thinking critically, staying emotionally present, and honoring what makes us human? If you're curious, building something meaningful, or passionate about doing this right, let's connect! #IlaLama #Boston #DigitalTransformation #AI #Creative
