As a Category Manager at Google, I am responsible for developing and executing the strategy, business planning, and vendor management for YouTube Shopping, a new initiative that aims to transform the online shopping experience for consumers and creators. With over more than 10 years of experience in category management and e-commerce, I have a strong track record of delivering growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction across multiple platforms and markets. I joined Google in Aug 2021, after working as a Category Manager at simsim, a social commerce startup that was acquired by Google. There, I led the fashion category and managed the end-to-end process of sourcing, merchandising, pricing, and promotion of products, achieving a 4X increase in sales and a 50% reduction in inventory costs. Previously, I worked as a Category Manager at Club Factory and Naaptol, where I gained valuable insights into the trends, preferences, and behaviors of online shoppers in India and abroad. I also have a PGDM IB in International Business from IILM CMS, Greater Noida, and I speak English, Hindi, and French fluently.
