• Built a brand-new 25+ member team focused on Alexa’s customers in the Americas region. Additionally, took over engineering teams responsible for high visibility and critical Alexa privacy products
• Launched Alexa ‘Routines via voice’ product – enabling Alexa customers to automate actions via voice commands. After taking over the project, I helped come up with alternate timelines, influenced NLU partner teams to accept our solution, helped TPM track milestones with the partner ER teams, allocated resources as appropriate, and dived deep where required to deliver the functionality
• Integrated Fire TV with Alexa Routines, giving customers to ability to automate and control Fire TV actions via Alexa
• Led unification program to standardize voice publishing API across Alexa orchestration engine – and then giving customers a clean view into their voice commands to Alexa. This required my team to align multiple Alexa VPs.
• Shipped high visibility cross-org Alexa privacy features, including auto deletion of customer voice recordings, announced by the Alexa SVP at the Alexa devices launch event
• Helped design team processes, daily design review mechanism and org wide operational readiness review mechanism
• Created Alexa Americas feature roadmap, managing various international team stakeholders such as country managers, product managers and other international technology leaders

• Managed Expedia’s Core Hotel Pricing Engine project, as part of company-wide initiative to modernize lodging stack. Working with cross-teams in Expedia – Supply, Platform, Domain and Brands, with a goal of providing the very best prices to the traveler while honoring supplier intent, at a scale of millions of transactions per minute.
• Led MRP Deal program to offer lowest rates and best availability for longer duration stays
• Led integrating Orbitz lodging inventory with Expedia platform
• Led the Price Optimization program – that provides dynamic pricing based on traveler’s profile. Understood scope of the program, created roadmap, documented specifications, wrote user stories and drove the team to project delivery. Successfully enabled the feature in production via A/B experimentation.
