I was instrumental in facilitating the acquisition of the company to LivingSocial in May 2011.

• I developed a platform for interactive Flash ads that eliminated the need for ActionScript developers, and allowed low-skilled ad ops personnel to quickly create interactive ads based on Flash assets provided by graphics designers. I also conducted architectural and source code quality assessments of SocialMedia's advertising network and platform.

• I founded a company and led a team of engineers to build a real-time collaborative source code editor. Unique features of the editor included a novel peer-to-peer, lock-free merging algorithm, file synchronization, LEAP-inspired incremental document navigation. The editor was built in the Java programming language, used hundreds of threads, scaled to thousands of users, and exceeded 400,000 lines of code and automated tests. In addition to writing code, functioning as a lead architect, and managing the engineering team, I headed up website development, marketing, and sales.
