• Working as part of Pricing System, a centralized application responsible for valuing all financial instruments traded by the client as well as producing foreign exchange rates.
• Currently working under the capacity of Engineering Lead with four direct reports under me and leading PIVal Project.
• Worked on this PIVal project from inception to delivery with the ultimate aim of providing complete transparency and self-service ability to the clients.
• This project involved extracting out a big chunk from the main application, comprising of Real-Time API-based Snappers and file parsers back-end into another application and was built with Generics to ensure type safety at compile time.
• For the same, worked from requirement collection, preparing RND Proposal, getting approvals, design draft (HLD/LLD) and getting approvals for the same, project planning, and implementation phase for this project. This project has been a milestone in my career as well.
• This project has been delivered and is now in the onboarding and maintenance phase. Now we are working onto making this application Multi-Tenant and containerizing the same using Docker-Containers (AWS platform)
• It is critical for various aspects of our business, as this pricing data is used to monitor risks across various portfolios and compute profit and loss ("PnL") statements.
