Kari Linder — Head of Design
Our Head of Cryptography once referred to me as "the Steve Jobs of Cloudflare". He was talking about seating arrangements at the time, but I think it's still pretty impressive. Much of my academic and professional work has focused on the intersection of psychology, art, and computer science - integrating principles from each discipline to create unique and fluid design solutions. Through my research at Claremont’s Moral Emotions Lab and Harvey Mudd’s Human/Robot Interaction Lab, I worked to develop concrete experimental structures to test abstract experiences. Our experiments examined interpersonal power, attraction, the science of awe, and human-robot trust among others . As a designer, I strive to bring technical concepts into a visual space so that these ideas are accessible - not just to experts in the field, but to anyone who wants to understand them. was once
