About

I am an Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow working at the Office of Provost at New York University, specializing in sustainable biomaterials, 3D bioprinting, protein engineering, and advanced manufacturing for regenerative medicine. My doctoral research focused on developing fish-skin-derived collagen-based scaffolds optimized for peripheral nerve repair, integrating material science, mechanical engineering, and biomedical translation. With a background spanning a BTech in Mechanical Engineering (PES University), an MS in Mechanical Engineering (Louisiana State University), and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (NYU Tandon/NYU Abu Dhabi), I bring a strong foundation in both traditional engineering principles and cutting-edge bioprinting technologies. I also have teaching and mentoring experience, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and research mentor to undergraduate and graduate students. I am deeply interested in technology translation and commercialization, and I actively engage with NYU’s entrepreneurial ecosystem (Leslie eLab, Technology Opportunities & Ventures, Entrepreneurial Institute) to explore pathways for moving laboratory innovations into clinical and industry applications. Passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to bridge engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship to create sustainable solutions that advance human health.
