• At Myntra I’m responsible for data platform engineering. I’ve scaled 5 teams under my span to 26 team members with indirect and direct reporting structure. I collaborate with senior leadership and product to identify key strategic initiatives to boost revenue growth, lower operational cost, improve performance and resilience.
• Technical capabilities :
• Led the architecture and growth journey of ingestion capabilities for clickstream, crawl and transactional systems to data lake.
• Led the architecture and growth of streaming systems influencing in session recommendations, online embedding generation, traffic analytics, campaign management, funnel analytics etc.
• Led the architecture and growth of self serve data processing systems operating on petabyte scale data lake with abstractions around multi-cloud and multi-compute deployments. Capable of scaling to ten's of business units with focus on governance and cost attribution.
• Organisation growth :
• Lakehouse architecture, Hybrid ML pipelines, Event governance are strategic initiatives which revamped the technology stack at Myntra making it ready for its next phase of growth.
• Cloud operations and Vendor management :
• I work with the business finance team on the annual budget, data growth forecast and keep the costs within budget. Undertook TCO calculations and influencing right pricing strategy for adoption of PaaS Databricks (Spark) and Confluent (Kafka) to address devops and performance challenges.
• People management :
• Through periodic 1-1’s assess the interests of team members and upskill them in alignment with their objectives. I’ve presented at the Data and AI world tour, Tech leaders conclave. Published on Myntra Engineering. Build a strong engineering culture with structured processes around on-call, engineering metrics, bandwidth allotment for technical debt and RCA action items.

• At Numerify I was the initial engineer responsible for developing the product over its 0-1 and 1-10 journey. I supported the onboarding of 20+ enterprise customers since the startup was in stealth mode.
• Core developer of Numerify application that enables in building warehouse data models. Users can model standard and custom transformations and aggregations on top of schemas pulled from source systems.
• Warehouse model passes through the code generation layer to build the ELT pipeline.
• DAG of transformations is executed over scalable infrastructure for every customer.

• At Oracle I was part of Oracle Business Intelligence team responsible for developing custom content for business users.
• Built the first POC of predictive analytics dashboard using R-OBIEE library support.
• Automation to list and modify reporting criteria of columns, filters and style for a given application. This lowered operational bandwidth for editing hundred's of reports across applications.
