It was a big task being in charge of that many people but taught me a lot about my time management and group communication tactics.

I also worked numerous Show me Days and recruited new freshman and transfer students and interested them in joining a Greek organization. I also designed the logos and booklets for recruitment and made the Greek board displayed at each and every event.

• I was a Recruitment Counselor for the SEMO Greeks which entailed that I had to disaffiliate from my sorority for over a month and lead girls through and help promote Greek life as a whole. I was selected twice for this position fall 2009 Recruitment and fall 2010. This really helped my leadership and delegation skills. I was forced to be put in many difficult situations and learned how to cope and adapt to new surroundings and build relationships out of my normal comfort zone. Overall I think this position helped me become more independent and learn to communicate effectively in a large group setting. Each group of girls I lead had anywhere between 10-15 girls.
