  • Part of the Central Data Science Team at Ola in which I mainly worked on building Data Science products to solve business problems and optimize the overall allocation of OLA.
  • Built an Acceptance ML model to generate a probability score of acceptance for a demand-supply pair. A probability score was used in real-time in allocation to fetch cabs who have a higher probability of accepting the booking. The net impact of the model was an increase of 2~5% booking level acceptance, in A/B testing across all Indian and international cities. (Live in production)
  • Built a Net Completion ML model to generate a probability score of completion for a demand-supply pair. A probability score was used in real-time in allocation to prioritize cabs with a higher completion score. The net impact of the model was an increase of 3% booking completion, in A/B testing across all Indian and international cities. (Live in production)
  • Built a DBSCAN model to identify homes of drivers and prioritize them at night whose distance from booking drop location and home is less. The result was a 0.8%~2% reduction in cancellation for long-distance rides across different Indian cities. (Live in production)
  • Indentifying drivers who are doing competition booking to get an estimate of loyal and flippers of the total drivers at Ola platform.
