About

I’m a product manager with 5+ years of experience turning ideas into scalable products that deliver real impact. I’ve led cross-functional teams, launched SaaS products, and executed product roadmaps, using agile methodologies, user-centered design, and data-driven decision-making to drive growth. My work spans process improvement, system efficiency, user engagement, and strategic partnerships, all focused on hitting (and exceeding) business goals. At 23, I co-founded a travel company focused on SaaS product development in travel planning. Navigating the pandemic taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to keep customers at the center, especially in uncertain times. Recently, I’ve been actively exploring and studying Gen AI, AI Agents, and Prompt Engineering, driven by a curiosity for how these technologies can reshape products, experiences, and industries. I’m passionate about innovation, building products that solve complex problems, and scaling solutions that make a meaningful difference. When I’m not working, you’ll find me mentoring students, experimenting in the kitchen, or having deep conversations about philosophy and product.

  • 2018: The Foundation
  • At 23, driven by a passion for managing rather than merely experiencing travel, I co-founded a travel company with a mission to build a SaaS platform for educational institutions to plan, manage, and organize leisure and educational trips. Rejecting corporate offers to pursue this vision, our humble beginnings in a garden involved cold calling, marketing, planning, and operations, and the journey to build a product began, later moved to a friend’s spare apartment and that year we clocked ~1Cr (~$120k) in sales.
  • 2019: Expansion and Team Building
  • With the business gaining traction, we moved into our first official office space and expanded our team significantly. We built a dynamic team of 40+ professionals, including organizers, photographers, social media managers, and editors. We also established a robust network of over 800 hotel & transportation vendors across India. Started building portfolios for school trips as well. Our sales momentum continued, matching the previous year’s figure of ~1Cr (~120k).
  • 2020: Resilience
  • The global pandemic presented unprecedented challenges, one of the most challenging years for every single business on Earth, 8 months in lockdown with the hopes of getting back we kept building products and MVP. Survived.
  • 2021: Persistence
  • As the world began to recover, the 2nd wave hit hard and badly, but we kept working through it, profits helped us to survive, and a few grants from Facebook and the Government.
  • Sold masks and sanitizers to survive as I exhausted all my financial reserves.
  • This year was pivotal as I began contemplating my next big step – pursuing my higher education. This decision was motivated by my commitment to lifelong learning and my desire to embrace new challenges
  • Reflection:
  • The 4 years that I have spent at Sailsmith were transformative, laying a strong foundation of entrepreneurship, risk management, and product development from scratch.
