I believe the future of innovation lives where human connection meets intelligent technology. My career has been built at that intersection bringing together talent strategy, experience design, and emerging technology to shape how organizations hire, grow, and lead. Most recently, I served as Manager of Talent Operations with a North America-wide scope at GFL Environmental, where I focused on experience-led strategy and scaling recruitment excellence through innovation. During my time there, I acted as product lead for the successful launch of Paradox, the organization’s first AI-powered recruitment solution. The implementation helped redefine how the organization attracts, engages, and hires talent at scale and established a new foundation for AI-enabled talent operations. My broader journey across Talent and HR Technology spans more than a decade, including impactful work at Deloitte Canada where I led national hiring initiatives and strategic talent programs. My work included advancing DEI-focused hiring for Black and Indigenous professionals, contributing to the reimagination of CRM career sites, and leading the three-phase pilot of the Plum psychometric assessment platform which later expanded into campus hiring to reduce bias and improve candidate alignment. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: technology should amplify human potential, not replace it. Whether implementing AI-powered hiring solutions or designing talent strategies, I focus on pairing insight with intuition and technology with empathy so the experience always feels human. Alongside my corporate career, I am also the Founder of Shoperts. Born from a personal challenge and deeply rooted in my Pakistani heritage, Shoperts bridges the shopping experience for overseas customers seeking Pakistani fashion and lifestyle products. The platform combines consulting, sourcing, quality assurance, and consolidated shipping into one seamless digital experience powered by a custom client dashboard. I thrive on connecting ideas, people, and technology. Whether building talent ecosystems or global commerce platforms, my goal remains the same: to create systems that scale while keeping the human experience at the center. Outside of talent and technology, you will often find me behind a camera lens capturing moments that matter.
