• Devised an Event-Carried State Transfer architecture to integrate our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with SAP, bolstering financial transaction tracking, and abstracted SAP across teams by creating an intermediary Aggregator Service.
• Migrated an ordered event stream processing 3000 events/min from Redis to SQS FIFO queue seamlessly without any downtime on Production, mitigating potential processing order issues by formulating and executing a double-release plan.
• Utilized the Strangler Fig approach to extract Purchasing as a separate micro-service from our monolithic WMS, thereby enhancing the system’s scalability and manageability while ensuring smoother operation and development processes.
• Conceptualized and designed a service for tracking the availability and capacity data of operations’ resources, resulting in a 20% reduction in task costs (picking, putaway, etc) and a 30% decrease in Turnaround Times (TATs) nationwide.
• Led a team of 3 developers, including myself, to develop and integrate this service with our downstream services (services like warehouse management, logistics, etc), automating their task assignment and tracking all the associated data.
