✦ Developed a new service to host Zomato Live's events discovery and ticketing platform (earlier zomato.com/live, which now redirects to district.in) in NextJS, Typescript from scratch, using in-house web payments sdk, enabling users to buy tickets for flagship events like Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-luminati Tour 2024, FIC Dua Lipa 2024, Bryan Adams 2024 and many more events on our web flow.
✦ Worked on the Tickets reselling (a first of its kind by an Indian ticketing platform), seller side things of the platform, enabling users to list partial/all tickets purchased in an order, leading to more +1000 tickets listings on the opening day itself.
✦ Monitored services, managed AWS scaling of the services during the ticket sales, with traffic reaching upto 100kRPM on web.
✦ Optimising the Web vitals, Sitemaps, UX, SEO, Google structured data for events for the online ticketing platform, leading to increased user engagements.
✦ Created cron scripts to generate sitemap xml files for SEO ranking of all the Zomato Live EDP (Events description pages).
✦ Created Merchant Dashboard from scratch providing event promoters/organisers, a complete insight with graphical elements for events that they are hosting on Zomato, regarding weekly/monthly sales, GMVs, Payouts, Guests data, Offline sales etc.
✦ Crafted specialised flow for SaReGaMa (Diljit Dosanjh Tour, FIC Dua Lipa), to sell tickets via offline channels through their promoters.
