I love writing code. Ever since early high school, I have been astonished by the number of practical problems that are solvable using software. Software engineering is like a swiss army knife, it can be used to solve the most varied and complex problems and that keeps me passionately engaged in this field. My first professional stint started with coming together with a few friends of mine to establish a start-up that focused on creating customized software to solve problems faced by people around us who did not have access to sophisticated technology and for problems that had no existing solutions. This phase of my life acted as a catalyst for me, which created a hunger within me to learn as much as I can about technology that is out there. Following this, I have worked with multiple organizations as a Full Stack Developer. My latest professional contract was with Cimpress, where I worked as a Senior Software Engineer in their API Management Team, developing features for both frontend and backend for an existing tool. I tend to continue learning and writing code even when I am not working. Most recently, I have been working on creating my portfolio website, which is built using Angular and is designed to imitate the look and feel of a desktop OS, where the user can open and close windows, minimize/maximize or rearrange the windows as they see fit. It has been a fun project so far, as it requires creativity, problem-solving, and the thirst to do something new and interesting. This is what keeps me up at night, a never-ending thirst to create beautiful, powerful solutions and share them with the world.
