Worked on handwritten character recognition based on images of government forms by deconstructing characters into strokes using a custom-designed end-to-end neural translation system.
Worked on designing an end-to-end image localisation system for filtering out screen panels from low and high-resolution gas meter images and extracting readings from the localised part, eventually automating the gas meter reading pipeline. Achieved an MAP of 0.91 on the overall solution.

As a Data Science Immersive student at GreyAtom, I've studied the methodological and mathematical foundations of data science and machine learning, as well as practical, hands-on skills. Classwork ranged from in-class projects and Kaggle competitions, to personal projects focused on real-world applications of data science principles and best practices.
It's been very intense. The amount of information learnt during this time was large wrt quality and quantity. The Basic Statistics, Python, Machine Learning and Natural Language processing techniques were quite overwhelming at the beginning, but the hands on experience with the labs and projects helped to understand the concepts. Over the period of time I've learnt to build models using Python libraries such as sklearn, pandas, numpy, BeautifulSoup, seaborn, matplotlib, opencv2, to name a few.
Clean, Mine, Analyze, Model, Train, Test, Predict has become my data mantra.
