• Answer Engine Optimization or AI-SEO is improving a brand's visibility on AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity etc. by coming up with real-world prompts, analysing response, citations, structure of those responses and finding causation by analysing brand's self-content as well as third-party content referencing the brand.
• As part of this pilot, I:
• 1. Designed landing page as well as UX of the application using Google Stitch
• 2. Implemented the v0 of the application using React & Tailwind.
• 3. Implemented backend in Golang to serve share of voice, citations and other analytics using GCP's Cloud Run, Bigquery and authentication via Firebase
• 4. Wrote server-side integration with Wordpress and Cloudflare as well as Google analytics & Google Webmaster along with corresponding ingestion pipeline using Golang, Pubsub and Bigquery.
• 5. Implemented AI Content Gaps Analysis and Recommendations Engine using Python and Vertex AI. This engine analysed gaps in answer engine responses and suggested improvements in current content as well as new content to improve structure and establish authority in the topic for the domain.
• 6. Researched the AEO domain in general to figure out definitive facts on what works to improve visibility as well as the right metrics to measure a brand's content structure by to execute an AI Technical audit for the content.
• The pilot validated the demand for the solution in market but didn't seem to have a strong technical moat, hence not pursuing it as a tech-business going forward.

• magicpin is an online to offline discovery platform. Responsibilities of my team were:
• 1. Completely own Discover and Redeem tabs on the app as well as inventories on post transaction pages.
• 2. Make sure most relevant vouchers and merchants are visible to user.
• 3. Optimise views distribution to maximise conversion as well as distribution of
• conversions across merchants.
• 4. Maintain the client facing backend infra for the above and ensure high availability and
• resilience.
• 5. Develop, test and rollout different algorithms for personalisation of inventory.
• 6. Ensure rich merchant content, automate content updation process and quality checks.
• Personal responsibilities were:
• 1. Manage inter team communication and dependencies, declare timelines and
• prioritise tasks, conduct daily stand ups etc.
• 2. Manage sprint, delegate tasks, communicate individual ownership and help ensure
• delivery of tasks according to timeline: I have 3 developers on the team
• 3. Assist and support team with breaking down problems into smaller pieces, taking call
• on different ways to implement/test a particular solution as well as address any infra
• related concerns.
• 4. Own and code work items end to end, especially something that is a bit tricky and I
• would like to personally drill down on it. I tried to keep atleast 60% of my bandwidth to
• contribute as a coder and 40% for communication etc.
• 5. Deployment and infra management for all the tech pieces owned by the team.
• 6. Conduct merchandising call to review and revise visible inventory with product analyst and content lead.
• 7. Report metrics and high value work items in Daily catch up call with the top level management.
