Part of Office Online Team - "Web App Center" is the underlying framework where all office apps are rendered such as Word, Powerpoint etc. Making sure our services are robust enough to handle the massive user base (this one is obvious, isn't it?). We are the one who make sure that despite having monolithic legacy code base, we and other 1000s of developers are as agile as in any microservice by automating everything and reducing human toil by having minimum merge conflicts and preventing one's code (read Word for example) from impacting someone else's code (read Powerpoint for example).
Working on world's one of biggest codebases and making sure every piece of puzzle works seamless is an art itself, and we are the artist. The sheer volume of data we generate is enough to satiate hunger of any big data/ML enthusiastic. We are present in countries whose name I never even heard before. It's wonderful, isn't it?
