• At Uber, I created world-class and delightful experiences for Eaters, Merchants, and Couriers. My role involved solving complex and ambiguous technical problems in Uber's delivery-based businesses. My contributions included:
• Eats Merchant Account Security: Built the access control layer to protect merchant resources and developed a platform to prevent merchant account takeovers.
• Uber Eats AI assistant: Tech lead in the Eats AI assistant team.
• Performance Optimizations: Enhanced the performance (latency and CPU utilization) of Uber Eats' backend and mobile apps.
• Reduced Uber Eats orders related defects.
• Money and pricing related backend services of Uber's delivery businesses.

• Owned performance and reliability of Microsoft Viva Connections app inside Teams mobile across Android and iOS. Viva Connections gives you a curated, company-branded experience that brings together relevant news, conversations, and other resources. Performance was the most important horizontal in the app and the focus of my work was to ensure that all the user based flows execute in a highly performant and reliable manner. My team attained some challenging performance goals related to app boot and SharePoint/Yammer/Dashboard page load inside the Viva Connections app while collaborating with teams across US, Norway, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
• For most part of 2020, I worked on the new Lists mobile app which is a smart information tracking app in Microsoft 365. I was part of the team which created the Lists iOS app from scratch until it's beta in Oct 2020.

• Led the transition of SharePoint mobile project from Microsoft Redmond to Microsoft India Development Center on the engineering side which included starting to ship updates from India, smooth transition and ramping up the team in Microsoft India Development Center.
• Improved the app boot performance of the SharePoint iOS app by 60-75% which led to SharePoint iOS app having one of the best app boot performances across a plethora of Microsoft iOS apps. The work was also presented at multiple (tech and learning) forums inside Microsoft. Various other Microsoft iOS apps ended up using the same tools and techniques to measure and improve their app boot performance.
• Previously worked at Microsoft Office's Visio Team. I was part of the team which launched Visio on iOS and also shipped various features on Visio Online. Single-handedly shipped Visio iOS updated for roughly a year.
