I pioneered the concept of AI-first repositories; designed to embed intelligence directly into the developer workflow. These repositories host agents for planning, development, review, and architectural brainstorming, along with structured prompts for onboarding, auto-setup, and guardrails aligned with team principles. With efficient context management, they reduce hallucinations, enforce standards, and improve developer productivity and scalability.
This transformation is guided by a three-pillar approach: building strong instructions and guardrails in repositories for quality and faster onboarding, enabling milestone-based planning to keep large projects on track, and connecting the ecosystem through MCP servers that integrate with Jira, Confluence (to surface RFCs and DACIs), feature gates, and monitoring systems. These pillars make AI effective and dependable across the developer journey. Leading this initiative for 500+ engineers, I focus on scaling adoption responsibly and effectively.
In parallel, I drive improvements in performance, reliability, and operational excellence of checkout systems, the critical flow where payments meet revenue. My focus spans trend monitoring, canary build analysis, conversion tracking, and observability to detect issues early. These efforts ensure the customer experience is seamless, fast, and trustworthy, while supporting conversion.
