He is a Production Engineer with an MBA in Marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai. He is awarded a Ph.D. in Marketing Management (Retailing) by Pune University. He has been associated with the industry for over 28 years. He has worked at the senior management level in international and domestic Sales and Marketing after starting his career in manufacturing. He has been teaching Sales/Marketing & Retailing subjects to MBA students in India & overseas for the last 18 years. He is awarded "Top-75 influential Marketing Professors in the World” in 2020. He is actively involved in consultancy. As a Management Consultant, Adviser & Coach he provides advice on Business Strategy, Marketing Planning, and Sales Management to Small and Medium Scale companies (SMEs) and retailers.
