• Raj was Vice President at Dell, responsible for the creation and launch of the strategy consulting practice. During the early stages of this practice Raj led the engagement to develop the strategy for the office of the CIO of a key Government agency. This engagement helped the stakeholders gel as a team and enabled the co-authoring of a unified strategic direction around which the entire organization rallied. As a result of this process, participants gained full visibility into their enterprise model and value chain, and exposed critical gaps that were addressed through recalibration of initiatives and programs. This engagement resulted in tremendous appreciation from the customer and references to peer groups across the agency. On another internal engagement, Raj led the Dell Services team in discussion with the CIO office to ensure the enterprise IT systems were poised to accommodate the cradle to grave requirements of the next generation solutions being created.
• During the early days of the Dell/Perot integration, Raj led the development of an integrated strategy for the newly formed Dell Services. As a member of the Dell-Perot integration office, Raj took the lead in merging corporate initiatives such as Sustainability, Employee Resource Groups, and was the corporate champion for the 2010 American Heart Association HeartWalk.

• As the Chief Strategy Officer of Perot Systems, Raj Asava is responsible for the development, enhancement and cascading of the corporation’s global strategy. In this role, Raj worked closely with Perot Systems global leaders on issues and opportunities of strategic importance to the company. He also led the Enterprise Planning Group which facilitated the development of unit level strategic plans, and carried out research, analysis and reporting related to strategy-driven performance initiatives.

• As the Chief Executive Officer of Asava Consulting, Inc. – a management consulting firm focused on creating value, delivering results and enabling growth for its stakeholders – Raj has re-launched the company to engaged with organizations in the public and private sectors and assist them in the development and operationalization of their business and technology strategies.
• Recently Asava Consulting, Inc. (ACi) signed a long term agreement with one of top provider of integrated technology solutions to business and government agencies worldwide. Raj led and completed a key consulting project with the technology solution provider. He also engaged with one of the largest health focused NGO and led the development of their India Entry & Expansion Strategy.
• Raj founded ACi in 2000 and under his leadership, provided consulting services to one of the largest business houses out of India and helped them establish their operations in Austin, TX. He negotiated and signed a long term agreement with Everest Group, one of the top 3rd Party Technology Advisory firm in the US, and through them engaged with a large Electronic Retail Outlet and advised them on their offshore strategy and initiatives.

• At Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), Raj was a Director of Knowledge Management. Working extensively with a globally dispersed team of partners, he developed and implemented a comprehensive plan to harvest, analyze, organize, distribute, and effectively manage enterprise-wide knowledge.

• Raj established and led the office of global Emerging Technology & Trends at EDS for the purpose of scouting, identifying, validating, and developing next generation, technology-based, solutions for EDS’ customers.
• In 1995, Raj advised EDS to enter India and formed strategic alliances with some of the top software development companies in India. He relocated to India as an expat to strengthen this operating model, while working towards establishing an EDS-owned and operated Systems Engineering (SE) center. As a result of the outstanding success of EDS India, he was called on to advice EDS teams in Egypt and Philippines on the establishment and successful operation of SE Centers in emerging countries.
• A transition employee from General Motors to EDS, Raj worked in a number of leadership roles across multiple industries during his 14+ year tenure with them.

• As an Information Technology consultant, Raj worked for companies such as American Motors, Volkswagen of America and General Motors. A hands-on expert on a variety of technology platforms, Raj was often called upon to lead mission critical projects at these organizations. Pleased with his work ethic and quality of deliverables, General Motors bought out his contract from Computer Task Group and made him a full time employee.
