Hello! I'm Rana Itani, an enthusiastic math educator with a solid commitment to fostering a deep understanding of mathematics among students for both IB and American Curricula. For the past 6 years, I've been privileged to serve as a Math Teacher for students from grade 2 up to grade 10, igniting a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking in my students. My teaching approach goes beyond numbers, nurturing a lifelong love for learning. During my journey, I took on the role of SAT Supervisor at Dome, guiding students through a critical phase in their academic paths. In addition, I had the honor of being a Personal Project Supervisor at Al Faris School, empowering students to explore their creativity and independent thinking through their personal projects. During the pandemic, I did helper videos for my students in case they missed important information. One highlight of my career was organizing a successful Math Day event that brought mathematics to life for students and showcased its practical applications. This experience highlighted my ability to blend education with creativity and teamwork. Currently, I’m working on my master’s degree in education focusing mainly on integrating technology in the curriculum at the University of Michigan Dearborn.
