I am Director at Rudra EdTech Pvt. Ltd., a company with a vision aligned with the nation’s future in learning sector. It is here that we discovered rich insights into play as the food for growing minds. After many exciting experiments and prototypes, FLO – Theory of Play was born. This, at a juncture when Technology is more enmeshed than ever before and we are all challenged to bring back real touch play. So it’s thrilling to find our high quality board games, puzzles, educational kits, science kits and DIY kits restoring the joy of growing up, for all ages! My own journey reflects somewhere in the creation of FLO. I rely on creativity as much as hard work and analytical approach to solve the bigger questions at work. Off the clock, I enjoy my fitness routine and outdoor football or tune into relaxing music. After my engineering degree, I spent 6 years in toy manufacturing, including developing Augmented Reality app in the Unity Game engine at Smartivity Labs Pvt. Ltd. This stint coincided with the huge strides that Indian toy industry began to make under the Make in India drive. It was too exciting to just watch from the sidelines and I plunged into my own business with Rudra EdTech. As the company took off, it was time to take the next leap - with FLO- Theory of Play. FLO is part of a worldwide initiative by parents, educators, cognitive scientists and innovators to use playtime for the growth of imagination, curiosity and kindness. Better play makes better life.
