My work is play. I’ve always been a lover of games and sports. I have been exposed to them since a very young age and somewhere in between I got caught in the rat race of JEE, CAT and placements. I was in a place where jobs didn’t seem meaningful. It took some soul searching, but I finally found the answer in a book called Ikigai by Hector Garcia. While work will still be work, I find happiness in the Gaming Industry, and I can’t see myself doing anything else. Some key “relevant” highlights relating to my passion: 🕹️ I remember buying my first graphics card at the age of 10 – It was a debate between a GeForce FX 5200 vs ATI Radeon 9200, the latter one was chosen. 🎮I had a Nintendo Gameboy without the backlight, it was a struggle to play in low light and I bought a lamp to do so. 🎲I had written a letter to Skoar! way back in 2003. It was published. Skoar! is India’s best gaming magazine. 🖧 I used to pester the BSNL customer guys to give me a static IP back in 2008 to be able to host CS 1.6 servers online. My server could only host around 4 people before becoming laggy. 2MBPS RIP. 🤝🏻I helped and acted as a co-founder for the gaming club of my undergraduate college 💻 In an open choice project in IIM Kozhikode for Social Media Analytics, I chose my favorite game "Sea of Thieves" to analyze. It was my happiest A grade. Something slightly less important but I was told that it helps to establish credibility on LinkedIn: I am an engineer and MBA graduate and like to do my assigned duties properly, whatever they may be. A student, a cricketer etc. etc. During my post-graduation at IIM Kozhikode: 👨‍🎓 I was a Merit Scholar and scored marks to land me in the Top 5% of the batch, 🧳️ We have won SCBFLC 2020, an international case competition in which we beat Cambridge, NUS, Warwick and many others. We were given the award by the King of Thailand in Bangkok. 👨‍💻In another competition, we were provided a Seed Fund by Rajan Nanda Innovation Lab for our Agritech Startup During my graduation: 👨‍💻I was a student leader and a member of the Student Council 🏏I represented my university in the South Zone cricket tournament 🔮I acted as the Convener for Revels 2015, which is our cultural and sports festival.
