• The topic of the internship was resource optimization for Cloud Computing. We proposed a robust guaranteed heuristic for allocating VMs onto PMs. My work in this internship was to understand this work and take part in the experimental validation of this heuristic, by the means of simulations.
• Understanding the simulation environment and making required changes, I implemented this algorithm and compared its performance to other algorithms in a variety of scenarios.
