• Sama is a UK-based HR B2B SaaS startup that provides subscription based professional coaching by virtually matching employees with coaches, serving businesses in the professional services and financial sectors across the UK, Europe, and North America.
• In my role, reporting to the Founder, I lead the development of employee engagement, 360 performance assessments and evidence-based recommendations to measure the impact of coaching and learning solutions. I've also contributed to thought leadership by creating eBooks and case studies to enhance Sama’s branding.
• Assessments and R&D:
• Developed Sama’s bespoke employee engagement survey from the ground up, to measure the impact of coaching on employee engagement & companies culture.
• Built a 360-degree performance assessment by researching and formulating a competency framework to help clients with performance management.
• Created a new revenue stream for SAMA by developing and launching training modules for first-time managers
• Content and Thought Leadership:
• Created 40+ pieces of content, including articles, newsletters, and case studies, driving a 4x increase in Sama's LinkedIn following in a year through paid ads, A/B testing, and regularly tracking and analysing metrics.

• Blume is an angel and seed venture fund (VC) that funds startups in the Technology space with over 150 investments in India and the U.S. spread across SaaS, E-commerce, Fin-tech, Health-tech and Ed-tech.
• As one of the first hires in the Human Capital and Talent unit - a new HR add-on service to startup portfolios, I led a team of 3 and consulted 80+ companies on talent acquisition, employer branding, culture, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
• New business unit setup:
• Developed the pricing strategy and target structure for the new HR add-on service, which resulted in a break-even within the first year.
• Successfully increased YoY profits by 3x through effective projections, successful retainers and regularly tracking project data and metrics which led the unit to become a profitable and self-sustainable business.
• Hired and led a team of 3 associates in talent acquisition and employer branding, streamlining onboarding and quarterly KPI reviews, which reduced time to hire by 30%.
• HR Consulting and Project Management:
• Led end-to-end recruitment processes, filling over 30 positions annually, while improving talent retention rates by 20% through strategic alignment of candidates' skills and cultural fit.
• Collaborated with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and define recruitment strategies, improving the interview to offer ratio and offer acceptance rate.
• Led the creation, revision, and roll out of 3 portfolio companies’ values through focus group interviews, codifying key sentiments and developing a comprehensive communication plan to relay information through the organisation.
