• 1. Smoothened out and fully rolled out resilience feature for all types of searches. Earlier it was still live for 75% of the searches.
• 2. Developed infra level support to migrate supplier level caching of fares to new architecture which will be useful for actually booking the flight ticket

• 1. Co-revamped the flights search page backend from a monolith to a modular microservice architecture. The architecture follows a reactive, choreographed model based on events from each of the services.
• 2. Incorporated GRPC based APIs for search which reduced the first response time for the user from expected avg time of 4 secs to 99%ile RT of about 1.5 secs
• 3. Developed the infrastructure to support supplier resilience to improve margins and RT. This directly contributed to increased profits.
• 4. Augmented metrics and telemetry to developed search services, which led to faster, and better issue analysis and debugging.
• 5. Guided and taught one of the juniors which eventually got him promoted from tester to developer.

• 1. Developed outlook calendar, which shows the minimum flight price for each day in a calendar format
• 2. Developed backend to provider data to populate SEO pages for specific origin-destination and travel date searches. Shows the non-stop flights and the min fares of adjacent dates as well.
• 3. Enhanced feature of sending email communications to users, by "confirming" if emails have been actually sent to user from AWS side.
• 4. Developed APIs to support multiple filters on flight search results.
