I've been in design recruitment for ten years. But design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid I was obsessed with building things. Taking things apart. Figuring out how stuff was made and why it worked the way it did. That never really went away - it just grew up with me. I studied product design and engineering and then spent my career at the intersection of design and the organisations trying to harness it. Over time, something interesting happened: What started as helping organisations make great hires gradually became something more. Leaders weren't just asking me to find people - they were asking me to help them think about what they were building. Who they needed around them. How to shape a function that could actually perform.
