• ● Rewrote the complete online ordering module(menu, cart, checkout and complete business logic) from scratch using The Clean Architecture and following were the achievements:
• Improved the time complexity of the complete menu to checkout flow, the new time complexity was O(n) (Business logic not included).
• Home screen to menu open time was reduced by 65% on average. The solution had huge impact on restaurants with extremely complex menus like Dominos.
• Super easy integration of new features. (implemented 3 different kinds of order flows within a span of 2 weeks post this change).
• ● Joined the Online Ordering iOS team and shipped numerous important features which contributed towards the business goals.
• ● Worked on Zomato’s food@work app and shipped it in record time.
• ● Been a part of 2 app revamps(v12 and v14) in which we built the Zomato app from scratch to achieve improved UX and better app-wide engineering.
• ● Other than that, below are some of the major features that I have worked on:
• Integrated Zomato Gold with online ordering.
• Worked on payments kit and implemented various features to support payments across the globe.
• Implemented generic support for special menus which was later used to onboard Dominos EDV flow and Pizza Hut’s special menu.
