Ayurveda based Disease Diagnosis using Machine Learning
Devised a non-invasive Nadi-Pariksha system aimed at aiding medical practitioners in diagnosing
ailments. Patients were required to complete a questionnaire, and their vaata, pitta, and kapha
readings were obtained through 3 optical sensors placed at the wrist. The readings were then
processed through neural networks to predict the patient's Prakruti.
Employed Decision Trees to analyze answers from the questionnaire and predict the presence
of specific ailments such as Anemia or Hyperacidity. The implementation, carried out in Python
using the scikit-learn library and involved MySQL for a doctor-patient database.
