This P&L tool had certain limitations and hence the users wanted to develop a new tool to calculate their P&L’s. They wanted to ascertain the feasibility of developing a new system. • Project: International Branch Banking Solution (IBBS) – CORE Banking (Corporate Banking)
• Client: Citibank
• Description: IBBS was then a leading CORE banking software used by CITIBANK for corporate banking across 25 countries and over 100 branches worldwide. IBBS comprised of various modules like loans, customer account, deposits, End of day processing, delinquency etc. that made up its corporate core banking suite.
• My Role:
• Providing production support for Core banking application issues that arise during the business operations
• Assisting L1 and supporting for resolutions of EOD related issues.
• Resolve the L2 issues within the SLA timelines.
• Co-ordinate with Citibank in case of product bug/ enhancement requirement.
• Deployment of product patch in production environment and tracking the same.
• In case of Change Request, understanding the new requirements and documenting the same.
• Project: Creating process maps for corporate banking processes for Citibank
• Identifying the existing business processes in Corporate Banking
• Identified about 78 processes which are common to all Banks
• Interviewing users to understand those processes in detail
