In 4.5 years at Microsoft, I got promoted from new grad (L59) to senior engineer (L63). I was lucky to have been surrounded by talented peers and trusted with impactful projects to lead. In 2025, I transitioned to Meta (London), Horizon Worlds as Senior Engineer (E5) to build the next generation of social experiences on VR! Having started my tango with computers at an early age with C++/QBasic in school, my University courses on Artifial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Operating System, Database, Data Structures and Algorithms brought out a great deal of passion for the Computer discipline. This allowed me to dive deeper into the research field with notable publications on contemporary issues such as Smartphone and PUBG Addition. Post Uni, I joined Microsoft IDC and later Meta, London as SDE to venture into the field of technical industry. Through my 6 years of experience, I have honed my technical accumen through various projects, often lauded for excellent context switching between them and showcasing tremendous ownership, which led to being rewarded with promotions every consecutive year. I carry skills such as Java, Python, Golang, C-Sharp, Linux, Typescript, NodeJS, Mocha, Shell Scripting, Powershell, Computer Architecture, Cloud Computing (Azure), Ansible Automation, Virtualization, Microservices, DS/Algo, AzDevops Latex under my belt, which allowed me to design/work on distributed large-scale systems. Also, I have developed a keen sense to look at the project as a whole and expand my breadth of work as and when required, such as directly dealing with Customers or Legal Team in addition to design/development and bringing Azure Hybrid Benefit V3 to Global Availability. Exceedingly passionate about learning new technologies. Also, sharing keen interest in helping others grow through mentorship. Looking forward to new opportunities and challenges that help me grow not just as an engineer but as a technology enthusiast.
